IJO MUSI early prototype
Description
This is a VERY EARLY prototype of "ijo musi". It was made for the "Transposition Ludique" class during the Summer School 2024 event at the University of Lausanne.
This version is quite unstable, and the full game will likely be an executable.
Content
There is not much to do as of yet. This prototype serves mostly as a way to showcase the vibes I am going for in this project.
There is only one room that is partially filled with placeholder objects.
You can activate/deactivate a tablet that allows you to see toki pona texts. However, there is currently only two very short sentences that serve as examples.
Controls
WASD - Movement.
Shift - Toggle the tablet view.
Issues
There are several known issues with this prototype. Amongst others, the biggest issues right now are:
- The light glitch which causes the tablet's screen to illuminate what it displays with the light that illuminates the tablet.
- The frozen frame that is displayed everytime the tablet is activated.
- The fact that the cursor is not captured in the web version.
- The framerate in the web version.
- The pixelating shader is not uniform across different machines. This can render text illegible.
